About Michael Hopkins
Visit the, Michael Hopkins Caricatures Online Store! Michael Hopkins, "Caricaturist Extraordinaire", was born and raised in Renton Washington, just a few miles Southwest of Seattle. Michael grew up inspired by the art of Chuck Jones, Al Hirschfeld and former Seattle Post Intelligencer cartoonist Bob McCausland...and of course, the humor of Seattle icon, J.P. Patches. As far back as Michael can remember he had a pen in his hand. Michael began drawing in the 3rd grade by creating "art" down the sides of his classwork (no doubt inspired by Mad Magazine) and continued to cultivate his art throughout his school years.
