Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

My "ode" to the greatest comedian of all time, Andy Kaufman (1949 - 1984??). Growing up, the world was a funnier place, because Andy was in it. A lot of people didn't "get" him back then and I'm sure, even more people today wouldn't...however, my best friend and I did and that's all that matters.This drawing was created September 18th, 2021, on 13" × 16" artist board with pen and black india ink and a india ink wash.

Michael grew up inspired by the art of Chuck Jones, Al Hirschfeld and former Seattle Post Intelligencer cartoonist Bob McCausland...and of course, the humor of Seattle icon, J.P. Patches. As far back as Michael can remember he had a pen in his hand. Michael began drawing in the 3rd grade by creating "art" down the sides of his classwork (no doubt inspired by Mad Magazine) and continued to cultivate his art throughout his school years.
